Palworld Arena Announced For Later This Year

Summer mockbuster?

More content is priming up to deploy in Pocket Pair’s runaway success Palworld.

Palworld developer Pocket Pair has announced that the open-world catch-and-butcher-and-enslave-em-all will be getting a new Arena gameplay mode later this year.

Making the announcement on Twitter, Pocket Pair initially stated that the Pal Arena update would be released in ‘Summer 2024’. However, the developer has since backtracked and claimed that the Summer 2024 timeframe was a mistake and that the update will be released sometime this year, but at the moment there’s no firm release window.

That being said, there are still plans to release some content over the summer, just not the Pal Arena.

The Pal Arena will give players the chance to test their creature-battling abilities in a gladiator-style arena in a PvP game mode. At the moment, not much else has been announced about the Palworld Arena mode, but we do have a short trailer from the developer showing the mode in action.

Before the Pal Arena releases, players can look forward to some new content planned for the summer, including a new island to explore, new weapons, buildings, and a new Pal species to capture/kill/enslave.

Again, there’s no solid release date for this content, but at least it has been given the (correct) time frame of Summer 2024, so not too far off from now.
